It’s Been Such a Long Time…
January 9, 2008 0
Yay! Regular updates are back in town! Just over a week ago, we began a new year known formerly as 2008. I, for one, am incredibly excited to see what this year holds in store for the Roseville Youth Group. We have several big plans for the upcoming year that can be briefly summarized as follows:
February: WINTERFEST!, Company/Autumn show
March: Illuminate
April: 2nd Annual Laughs and Lock-in
Summer: Spirit Song Festival, Mission Trip (Destination: TBA)
There are a few other things I am working on as well at the moment. One of my big goals this year is to involve us in more service-oriented activities. Let me know if you have any ideas for people or organizations that we can assist. Also, you are always free to suggest entertaining group activities. I am always up for trying new things so don’t be shy about throwing a few ideas my way. Remember, you can always e-mail me @ epsilon_rc@hotmail.com. I also accept phone calls to the church office @ (586) 771-5311. This year, I would also like you all to focus on bringing a few friends along. I am always up for meeting some new people and I hold closesly to the cliche, “The more, the merrier”.
I think at least every other Tuesday is going to be dollar show/half off appetizers @ Applebee’s night. There are few better ways to have as much fun for as little cash money. Tonight is class @ 7pm in the Allen Street House. Tomorrow, Thursday, we have our usual 6:30pm devotional in the same place. We are going to set up some big screen Rock Band and other forms of entertainment. We might even play a few hands of ye olde Euchre, Michigan’s native card extravaganza. That is all for this week. Be prepared for the evening of Saturday, Jan. 19. We are going to be preparing food for our “Chinese New Year Luncheon” to take place on Jan. 20. Your parents are requested to prepare an asian course of their choosing for the fundraising event. Those who assist with the event will be given funds towards this year’s trip to Winterfest.

Happy Belated New Year… in Austrailia apparently…
