Hey there internet folks!
Thanks for stopping by ye olde Roseville Youth Group web site. I continue to tirelessly post updates to this site so that you, the average web surfing individual, can partake and delight in them. First of all, let me remind you that this Saturday, at 6:00p we will be baking for the annual Christmas Bake Sale. We are meeting at my house. All proceeds from the bake sale will go towards the Winterfest funds of those who assist in the baking and selling of Bake Sale items. Call me or e-mail if you have any questions.
I just received an e-mail from Matt Mitchell, the owner/GM of the Detroit Dragons, a new minor pro hockey team that plays at Great Lakes Sports City in Fraser. The Dragons are hosting a youth group event this Sunday at 7:30p as they host the Battle Creek Revolution. The last couple games we attended between these two teams (let’s go ahead and call them bitter rivals) were pretty exciting. The cost is $8 for the tickets normally priced $9 and $10 for the tickets normally priced $12. We are meeting after the Sunday evening worship service. We will most likely grab something to eat before the game so bring some cash if you want some grubbage. Once again, call or e-mail me with any questions. In case you’ve lost my e-mail, it’s epsilon_rc@hotmail.com!

Bringing the heat... to the ice... is that safe?

Greetings and salutations everyone out there in internet land!
It’s your old pal Johnny with a much needed website update! Welp… we are entering a new year and I am in need of your input! I would like us to do more fun stuff that all of you can be interested in attending. It’s a little sad when only 2 or 3 show up to an event. Not only that, but I want to find more works of service that you all can take part in. We are going to attempt making the occasional visits to the care center, hospitals, and some of the elder citizens of our congregation. Also, I would like to plan a few more visits to God’s Helping Hands and Solid Ground. If you have any suggestions for ways we can help out in the community, please let me know.
There are a few upcoming activities that I would like all of you to take note of. First of all, this Saturday (December 6) @ 9:30a, we will be heading to Betty McLaughlin’s house to take care of her leaf infestation. Hopefully, we won’t have to take care of snow removal as well. I will really appreciate your attendance, and I am sure Betty will be thrilled. We will meet at my house at 9:30. If you need a ride, let me know. After raking, we will try to do something fun like pizza and video games, a movie, etc.
Saturday, December 13 and Saturday, December 20 are baking days! We meet on the 13th at 6p (at my house) to bake items that will be purchased on Sunday, December 14. The Annual Youth Christmas Partay will take place the following Saturday at 6p (at my house). Because our bake sale was a bust last year due to weather conditions, I am planning a seperate selling day on December 21. So, while we are celebrating the holidays, we are going to do some more baking. All proceeds go towards those attending Winterfest. If I see you working, I will log your time and award you the appropriate amount towards your Winterfest account. Remember that $50 is due for those attending Winterfest by the end of the year. Also, remember to bring a gift costing no more than $5 to the Christmas Partay on December 20. If any of this confuses, and I can see how it might, feel free to write me, call me, text me, or comment on this post. See you Saturday! PEACE!

This image has nothing to do with Winterfest, other than the fact it says Winterfest and we will be really really close to Pigeon Forge.
