Roseville Youth Group

This upcoming Sunday is a big day for the youth group. We are going to have an informational/planning meeting for parents and volunteers! After morning services, there will be a meeting to discuss upcoming events and activities. I will also be taking questions, comments, and suggestions from parents. I will stay as long as needed so bring whatever questions, comments, or suggestions that you’d like! This meeting, along with the AKOE newsletter (available in mail boxes and on this web site) are the first steps in my initiative to communicate more effectively with parents. If you ever need to, please feel free to call, text, or write me at any time. I am also ready to be approached when I am at the church for services or during the week (Tue. to Fri., 12 to 5).

We also have a possible opportunity to assist Amy Henderson’s home church with preparing a meal for the families at Solid Ground, a shelter across Gratiot from the Roseville church building. If all goes as I hope, we will be meeting at Solid Ground at 3:00p for assist with meal preparation. I will have final details on Sunday!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our second rescheduling post in a row! Woo! (As a side note, the rescheduled cider mill trip went really well and I am thankful to everyone who made it possible)

The Pizza Cook-Off, announced this past Sunday, will be rescheduled for Sunday, December 13. For anyone who doesn’t know, this event will be just like the soup/chili cook-off with people from the Roseville church preparing pizza and a few Italian dishes. The pizzas will be judged. Donations will be collected to benefit the youth group’s trip to Winterfest.
