During nursing school, I had to learn discipline. At one point in time, I was working three jobs and attending school full time. Every minute had to be planned. I made improvements and continue to work hard to make myself a more capable nurse, student, artist, husband, and friend. The kanji next to my frog samurai (still one of my favorite characters that I created) mean something to the effect of “to reform (oneself) or to conduct oneself well.” All of us are in process, reforming ourselves constantly. We are never finished growing.
